# Frequently asked questions

Learn how to improve your brand’s AI-ready information, work with agencies and platforms, and review what gets published.

Start with your brand, your team and the outcome you need.

Browse the questions below or [open the technical guide](https://optiview.ai/docs/setup/). For the full $99-per-website offer, [see pricing and what’s included](https://optiview.ai/pricing/).

How can Optiview help my brand show up more clearly in AI answers?

Bring your website content and approved brand knowledge together in a clearer AI-ready source. Address missing facts, product details and customer answers, then review and publish. AI services decide whether to retrieve or use it; Optiview does not control their answers.

How is Optiview different from an AI visibility or GEO monitoring tool?

Visibility tools help you see how your business appears in AI answers. Optiview helps you act on those findings by improving the source your business makes available. You can keep using your existing tools to measure what happens afterward.

Is there evidence that AI uses published Narrative Graph details?

Our [live proof page](https://optiview.ai/proof/#live-evidence) presents a collection of unbranded examples across four websites, with exact prompts, answer excerpts and clear evidence levels. Seven directed URL tests are retained separately. Fresh response-body hashes are shown where a production request was correlated; other examples identify indexed/cached source use or ordinary website facts. The examples show published wording in answers, with both paraphrasing and retained phrases. They are selected first-party observations, not an independent benchmark or a promise of recommendation frequency.

What should I measure when I try Optiview?

Start with whether AI describes your business accurately and includes the important product facts, qualifications and customer answers you publish. Record genuine buyer questions and baseline answers, publish a focused set of approved additions, then repeat the questions in fresh conversations. Include category questions that do not name your brand and direct questions about specific products. Track factual accuracy, citations and recommendation frequency separately. A single successful answer does not establish improvement over time.

Do I need to change my existing website?

Your visible pages stay as they are. Optiview prepares a separate Markdown version for supported requests. Connecting that delivery path may require work from your web team; it does not rewrite your CMS content.

Can my marketing team update content without asking developers?

After a supported connection, marketing can prepare approved brand information without a routine website code release. A workspace admin must edit and publish the Narrative Graph. Your web team handles initial setup and later hosting, routing or security changes.

Can agencies use Optiview across multiple clients?

Yes. Build a repeatable service around finding gaps, preparing updates, securing client approval, publishing and measuring with your existing tools. Use separate workspaces where clients need isolated access. Each website has a separate subscription; Narrative Graph editing and publishing require a workspace admin. [Explore the agency workflow](https://optiview.ai/partners/).

Can an AEO/GEO software platform integrate Optiview into its product?

Discuss a supported API workflow with us. Website delivery contains the parsed page and published Narrative Graph. Legacy schema and content-block endpoints are retired; contact us about supported partner access. Customer workspace admins retain Narrative Graph publication control. [Explore platform integrations](https://optiview.ai/docs/).

What can I change or add to my AI-ready source?

Prepare approved brand facts, product details, supporting evidence, FAQs and next steps. A workspace admin edits these within the Narrative Graph’s Identity, Story, Offerings, Trust, Knowledge and Actions, choosing the entire website or one exact page. Review saved drafts before publishing.

Does Optiview guarantee citations, rankings or recommendations?

No. Optiview gives you control over the information you publish, but AI services decide what they retrieve and cite. A clearer source is something you can inspect; changes in AI answers need to be measured separately.

How do I get started, and what does it cost?

[Try the public preview](https://optiview.ai/demo/) before connecting anything. The standard offer is $99 per website per month, plus applicable tax. A 30-day trial is available only when both the customer and website have not previously used a trial. A payment method is required upfront; cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. Contact hello@optiview.ai to set up your workspace. Workspace admins can start checkout from Billing after verifying their website. Each website has its own subscription and cancellation. [See the billing policy](https://optiview.ai/billing-policy/) for cancellation and subscription details.

Does Optiview replace my SEO or GEO agency?

No. Your existing agency can continue researching visibility, identifying opportunities, developing strategy and measuring results. Optiview gives your team or agency a way to prepare, review and publish source improvements based on those findings.

What happens in the public demo?

The demo turns a public page into readable Markdown, then separately uses AI to propose six Narrative Graph elements. AI drafting uses up to 24,000 characters from the page and up to two linked, same-site About, FAQ or policy pages. Review the supporting passages and proposed additions; missing facts need your input. The demo does not save content to your workspace, connect your website or publish anything.

Are existing FAQs the same as AI-written answers?

No. Existing page FAQs are source content retained without an LLM inventing answers. The public demo separately proposes AI drafts for review. Workspace admins edit and publish Narrative Graph additions after your team checks the facts.

Can I try it before connecting my website?

Yes. [See a demo](https://optiview.ai/demo/) without installing anything or signing in. Inspect the parsed page, explore AI-drafted additions and see the combined preview. Results depend on accessible source content and available demo capacity. Nothing is connected or published.

Will I need to change DNS?

It depends on the connection your web team chooses. Some supported setups keep your DNS unchanged; others require your domain administrator to update it. Setup is assisted, and your team should confirm the method before making changes. [Ask us about your connection](mailto:hello@optiview.ai).

Who decides what goes live?

Your organization checks and approves the facts. A workspace admin edits and publishes the Narrative Graph; saving does not publish. Publishing does not configure a connection or approve a flagged page source. Your web team verifies delivery and rollback. [Read the setup guide](https://optiview.ai/docs/setup/).

How does Optiview handle privacy?

Use authorized public, nonpersonalized content. The demo does not save drafts to a workspace or publish them. Its AI step and infrastructure processing are described in the [privacy notice](https://optiview.ai/privacy/), along with contact information, retention and analytics choices.

# Published brand narrative

# Site-wide brand information

## Who we are

### Optiview — the publishing layer for AI

Optiview turns complex website content into clean, structured Markdown and combines it with the brand narrative your team chooses to publish. The result is one clear source that supported AI crawlers and other systems can retrieve, alongside your existing website experience.

Built for marketing and web teams, agencies, CMS and commerce platforms, and AEO/GEO providers, Optiview helps turn recommendations into published source improvements. It complements AI visibility tools by giving teams a way to act on their findings.

Applies to: Optiview

## Why we matter

### Your website\. Your narrative\. One clear source for AI\.

A website can deliver a beautiful human experience while leaving important business facts scattered across pages, buried in markup, or dependent on JavaScript. AI systems may retrieve only part of that information.

Optiview gives businesses control over the source they make available: readable website content plus context only their team can provide. Your web team connects delivery; your content team writes, reviews and publishes the narrative.

Our focus is publishing useful, accurate brand information. Each AI service decides what it retrieves, uses and cites. Optiview does not control an LLM’s answers or guarantee placement in them.

## What we offer

### Clean website content, owned narrative and controlled delivery

- **Website parser:** Converts accessible public page content into readable Markdown, retaining supported headings, text, tables and links. The parser does not use an LLM to invent facts or rewrite the page. Browser rendering is available for supported JavaScript-dependent content.
- **Narrative Graph:** Organizes team-authored content into Identity, Story, Offerings, Trust, Knowledge and Actions. Add multiple items, edit them and review the graph before publishing.
- **Site and page scope:** Apply an addition to the entire website or one exact page, so the published context accompanies the appropriate content.
- **Publishing and delivery:** Combine eligible parsed page content with published, path-matched narrative additions through a supported website connection. Draft edits remain separate from the active publication.
- **Delivery reporting:** Inspect recorded Markdown responses, requester claims, verification evidence and published versions. Delivery records show what was served, not whether it appeared in an AI answer.
- **Public demo:** Try a public URL, inspect the parsed source and explore AI-drafted narrative examples. Demo results do not connect a website or publish content.

## Why trust us

### Inspect the source and understand the evidence

Optiview makes the publishing process inspectable. Teams can review parser output and a combined published-output preview, check source information, and inspect publication history before deciding what to make available.

The public demo provides a way to evaluate output using a real public page. Source access and extraction limitations remain visible; blocked or inaccessible content may be missing. A preview is not proof that a live request received the same output.

Delivery reporting distinguishes claimed requester names from available verification evidence. A verified AI category does not by itself verify a named provider. A served Markdown response is evidence of delivery, not proof of ingestion, recommendation, citation or revenue.

## Helpful knowledge

### Common questions about using Optiview

**Does Optiview replace our website or CMS?**
No. Optiview adds a publishing layer. It does not rewrite your CMS pages; normal HTML requests retain the website experience through supported connections.

**What can we add to the Narrative Graph?**
Brand descriptions, mission and audience context, products and services, supporting facts, FAQs, policies and next steps. Choose whether each item applies across the website or to one exact page.

**Does saving publish our changes?**
No. Saved edits remain in the draft. An authorized user publishes the graph to activate the reviewed content. Later edits stay separate until published again.

**Does every AI system receive Markdown?**
No. Delivery depends on the connection, request and source eligibility. Some systems explicitly request Markdown; supported delivery paths can also select it for verified AI categories. Other tools retrieve HTML and extract text themselves.

**Is Optiview an AI visibility monitoring tool?**
No. Optiview helps you improve and publish the source. Keep using your visibility tools to study AI answers; use Optiview’s delivery evidence to understand recorded serving activity.

**Does the demo save a graph to our workspace?**
No. The public demo is a separate preview. Its AI-generated proposals require review and are not automatically transferred to a workspace or published.

**Do we need a developer?**
Your web team may need to help establish and verify the connection. Once connected, authorized content users can manage narrative updates in the admin.

**Will Optiview guarantee citations?**
No. You control the source you publish. AI systems decide what to retrieve, use and cite.

[Inspect unbranded AI conversation examples](https://optiview.ai/proof/#live-evidence), including exact prompts, answer excerpts, publication versions and matching response-body hashes. The examples are selected first-party observations, with unbranded discovery and directed URL tests labeled separately; they do not establish increased recommendation frequency.
