Why AI visibility reporting isn’t enough.
A visibility report can reveal a useful question, omission or inconsistent answer. It cannot by itself change the information your business publishes. The next step is an editorial and publishing workflow, followed by measurement that separates observation from causation.

Record the question, service, date, answer and cited sources. Repeat important observations under comparable conditions. Check whether the answer is actually wrong, whether your website supports the desired correction, and whether the relevant fact is already clearly published.
A fictional manufacturer might see an answer omit its maintenance service. That could reflect missing website information, retrieval choices or a question that did not call for the service. Treat the report as a hypothesis to investigate, not automatic proof that the website is broken.
Recommend a change someone can approve
Identify the smallest supported improvement: a clearer service description, a limitation, a product fact or a direct answer with a supporting link. Assign a factual owner. Review the proposed wording and its evidence, including regional or product-specific qualifications.
Optiview supports preparing content and reviewing the combined source before an authorized user publishes. Your organization manages factual approval; a publish action is not proof that a second person independently signed off.
Publish something you can inspect
Keep a record of the exact source update and publication version. Verify the delivered response on the intended page and representation. This creates a concrete client deliverable without claiming that any AI system has already used it.
For agencies, the repeatable service is Assess, Recommend, Review, Publish and Measure. Existing monitoring tools remain useful. Optiview complements the research stack rather than claiming an unimplemented integration with every platform. Agency workflow.
Measure the outcome without inventing causality
Define the questions, baseline and observation period before judging results. Record changes in citations, answer accuracy and business outcomes separately. Models, indexes and competing sources can change during the same period. A better answer after publication is encouraging, but before-and-after movement alone does not establish cause.
Our evidence methodology separates preparation, delivery, retrieval, citation and business impact. The existing publishing problem article develops the broader operating model. Start with one material question and one inspectable change, then decide what to do next.
